Favorite Song#1- Arms

So after three months of posting songs, it is here. My favorite song of all time.

Arms by Christina Perri is my favorite song. I can’t explain why this song is of importance to me. Maybe because every word in this song, every line describes my life.

I have trust issues. Especially with boys, and this song is about learning to trust and just give it a shot.

Favorite Song #3- Use Somebody

Men aren’t perfect.  I am one of those girls who go around searching for the perfect guy. The one who will open doors for us,  remember our birthday, and  buy us flowers every time they see us. But guys are forgetful, just like girls. When a guy breaks a girl’s heart, she tends to slowly hate him; because he was the one who broke her heart. Sometimes girls get tangled. We make up fantasies in our head and when something doesn’t happen, then we get our hearts broken because we set ourselves up for it. So I can see someone who has a good heart, and I wish I had someone like that. But because I never spoke up,   they fly away like butterflies on a spring day…

Favorite Song #4- Happiness

I have learned a few lessons for the past few weeks. I realized and I’m still realizing that happiness will come my way. Whether it does in 20 years, 5 years, or in 6 months. Happiness will find me, and until it does I need to be content where I am. Am I sad? Yes. Do I want to be somewhere else doing other things? Yes. But I need to be content right HERE. In my home. Happiness will find me in the right time. In the right place.

Favorite Song #5 Hymn To The Sea

There are no lyrics to this song. But please readers, I urge you to hear it. It makes me think of everything. It is also the song I listen to when I feel like writing poetry, writing sad songs, and when I feel like crying. What does it make you feel? Happy? Sad? Or maybe peaceful. This song is incredible! I heard this song New Year’s Eve, and it was a great way to start the New Year. I really would want to leave a legacy on this Earth when I die.

Favorite Song #7 – Circles

A friend of mine heard this song, and suggested I should listen to it. I am so glad I listened to her! The lyrics are sad, and hopeless but I love the rhythm of their music.

Favorite Song #7 ~ Coming Back Down

Hollywood Undead is a rap/rock band from Los Angeles. The only reason why I like this song is because it has a really good beat, and the way their lyrics flow inspire me to make my songs better (yes I write rap songs.)

Favorite Song #8 ~ Love Story

Yes, I had to put this song on my favorite’s list. A lot of people don’t like this song because it’s too “girly.” I happen to like it because I’m a bit of a romantic person.

Also, I love William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. But it ends so sadly! So I love the way Taylor turns the story around for us positive people.

Favorite Song #9 ~ Jar of Hearts

I love this song because of the video. The song is great, the lyrics don’t specify what happens. But the video does show if she forgave him or not. Did she move on? Did she let him go?

The song ends with, “Who do you think you are?”  I have told myself that and so many other people too. All you need to do is forgive and let go. Move on with your life and don’t let him keep you down. If you’re a guy, don’t let her keep you bound in chains. This song is for guys as well.

Favorite Song #10 ~ This Is Love

This is at least the third time I have mentioned The Script. But they are a really good band!!

This is one of my favorite songs because the singer describes what love is.
